This Privacy Policy applies to salon owners, authorized staff, and business users of the TrimeZone platform — including the owner web dashboard (PWA), staff portal, and APIs that power salon operations.
TrimeZone helps salons manage live queues, online and walk-in bookings, staff, services, customers, notifications, subscriptions, and analytics (where included in your plan).
This policy explains what business and customer-related data we process, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information We Collect
Owner & staff accounts
- Name, mobile number, email (if provided)
- Password (stored securely hashed)
- Role (owner, staff) and shop assignments
- Staff permissions (queue edit, booking acceptance, etc.)
- Profile and account settings
- Booking alert sound preferences
Salon / shop profile
- Salon name, address, city, state, pincode, landmark
- Phone, description, photos, open/closed status
- Service menu (names, prices, duration)
- Subscription plan and billing status
- Location coordinates for discovery (when provided)
Customer & booking data (processed for your salon)
When customers book or visit through TrimeZone, we process on behalf of your salon:
- Customer name, mobile, and app account ID (for online bookings)
- Walk-in customer name and phone (when entered by staff/owner)
- Services selected, notes, queue tokens, status, and timestamps
- Staff assignment, earnings-related records, and ratings
- Cancellation reasons and booking history
Technical & device data
- Browser/device type and app version (PWA)
- FCM web push tokens for booking and queue alerts
- IP address, session tokens, and audit logs
- Error and performance diagnostics
3. How We Use Information
- Provide queue management, bookings, walk-ins, and staff workflows
- Send real-time updates via socket connections and push notifications
- Display customer lists, visit history, and analytics (plan permitting)
- Process subscriptions, trials, and plan feature access
- Verify accounts via OTP/SMS where required
- Improve platform security, reliability, and support
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Customer Data & Your Responsibilities
For customer personal data obtained through bookings, your salon is responsible for how you use that information in your business, subject to applicable law.
TrimeZone acts as a technology provider processing data to deliver the platform features you use.
Do not misuse customer contact details or export data for unlawful marketing without consent.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information
TrimeZone does not sell owner, staff, or customer data to third parties.

- Cloud hosting and databases
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for web/mobile push
- SMS/OTP providers (e.g. Twilio)
- Payment processors for subscriptions (where applicable)
- Maps services when address/location features are used
Within your salon
Booking and customer information is visible to authorized owner and staff accounts according to permissions you configure.
Legal requirements
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect platform integrity.
6. Notifications & Permissions
The owner/staff web app may request browser notification permission for booking requests, queue updates, and cancellations.
Alert sounds and vibration may be used in the browser when enabled in settings.
You can disable notifications in browser or device settings; critical operational alerts may be delayed.
7. Data Retention & Security
- Business data is retained while your account and salon remain active
- Booking records may be retained for analytics, earnings, and compliance
- Soft-deleted customer list entries may remain in the database for reporting
- We use HTTPS, authentication tokens, access controls, and industry-standard practices
8. Your Rights & Choices
- Update salon profile, services, and staff in the dashboard
- Manage notification and alert preferences
- Request account or data correction via support
- Request deletion subject to legal and billing record requirements
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use of the business platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
