1. Introduction
Trimezone is the customer mobile application for the TrimeZone salon booking and live queue platform.
Through the app you can discover nearby salons, view services and prices, book appointments online, track your queue position in real time, receive push notifications, manage your profile, save favorite salons, cancel bookings when permitted, and rate completed visits.
Salons on TrimeZone are independent businesses. The app connects you to them; service quality, pricing at the chair, and staff availability are managed by each salon.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your choices while using Trimezone.
2. Information We Collect
Account & identity
When you register or use your account, we may collect:
- Full name
- Mobile number (required for login and OTP verification)
- Email address (optional)
- Age and gender (provided during signup)
- Password (stored using secure hashing)
- Profile photo (if you upload one)
- Account verification status
Booking & salon visit data
When you book or visit a salon through the app, we collect:
- Selected salon and services
- Assigned stylist (when applicable)
- Booking status (pending, confirmed, in progress, completed, cancelled)
- Queue token and position
- Estimated wait time
- Booking notes, cancellation reasons, and ratings (1–5 stars)
- Booking history and timestamps
Location data
With your permission, we collect device location (GPS) to show nearby salons, distances, and location-based discovery.
Location may be used while you use the app and, if you grant background location permission, while the app is in the background.
Device & technical data
We may automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
- IP address and connection metadata
- Error and performance logs
- In-app notification events

Location
- Discover nearby salons
- Show distance and improve search results
Notifications
- Booking accepted or rejected
- Queue position and your-turn alerts
- Service started, completed, or on hold
- Booking cancelled by you or the salon
Camera & photos
Used only when you choose to upload or update your profile photo.

With salon partners
When you book, the selected salon may receive:
- Your name and mobile number
- Services, notes, queue token, and status

- Cloud hosting
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google)
- SMS/OTP providers (e.g. Twilio)
- Maps/location services on device
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for bookings, disputes, and legal compliance.
We use HTTPS, secure authentication, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights
- Update profile and change password
- Disable permissions in device settings
- Cancel bookings when allowed
- Request correction or deletion via Help & Support or email
8. Children's Privacy
Trimezone is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The Last Updated date will change when revisions are published.
Continued use of Trimezone after updates means you accept the revised policy.
